That God will never again curse the ground because of humans, even though every inclination of the human heart is evil from childhood. And never again will God destroy all living creatures, as he has done before.

will never cease."
This everlasting covenant between Noah and his descendants, and God is remembered and symbolized whenever God brings clouds over the Earth and the rainbow appears in the cloud.
